In mid-summer 2023, the Halve Maen will make its comeback to Amsterdam.

The Halve Maen is a historic saloon boat from the famous Jean Stauf shipyard in Germany. The ship is named after the ship with which Henry Hudson set foot in North America in 1609. Not much later, the settlement 'New Amsterdam', what we know today as: New York, would be founded here.

 

In recent years we have completely restored the ship and adapted it to current standards. From the outside it looks like a classic saloon boat, but as soon as you step inside, you imagine yourself in a New York loft style cocktail bar.

The boat is fully equipped, including: A toilet and a urinal, a full bar including tap, heating for the winter, a first class sound system and an interactive TV for presentations or, for example, football matches.

 

The windows can be partially opened and there is a cozy sitting area on the back deck.

Of course we have extensive catering options.
